Saturday night we went to the drive-in-movie with some friends. The last time we went Bailey was only 5 months old and it worked out so great. I fed her and she went right to sleep so we were able to enjoy the movie.
Unfortunately this time it didn't work out so well. The movie started at 8:05 Bailey's bedtime. Before we went she had her dinner and a bath she was all ready to go to sleep. We were thinking we would just lay a blanket down in the back of the Yukon with the windows down and she would just go to sleep. Yeah that didn't work at all.
You see her little head sticking out the back window, she thought it would be a lot more fun to just play. Needless to say she did not sleep and we didn't get to watch much of the movie. It was still a fun night, she's just at a hard age where she won't go to sleep just anywhere but she isn't old enough to watch the movie. It will be a little while before we try that again.

yeah, that age is rough. we used to be able to take kylie to the movies (prior to a year). one of us would spend about 15 minutes getting her to sleep and it was a smooth sailing 2 hours.... that ended abruptedly around a year. now she's good in cartoon type movies, but kacey drives us nuts! it's neverending!!!!!!!!!! :)
